06 Apr ROOST speaks on Adirondack tourism economic drivers
April 2017 – Lake Placid, adirondacks, usa – ROOST’s Michelle Clement, the director of destination development projects, spoke to a crowd gathered at the Crowne Plaza Lake Placid on April 6 during the Adirondack Park Local Government Day Conference. The day-and-a-half long meeting brought together governmental and environmental agencies, non-profits, and economic development organizations to discuss regulatory, economic and other issues facing the park.
Michelle’s presentation titled, Positioning Your “Trail” To Maximize The Economic Impact, focuses on the importance of offering travelers to our region lodging, beverage, dining and retail options to augment their outdoor recreation activities. They are looking for the complete package, she said.
“These other experiences should match what the target demographic is looking for,” she added.
