July Fourth celebrations throughout the region offer residents and visitors the opportunity to celebrate together while enjoying parades, concerts, family activities, and fireworks. This list provides information about various celebrations taking place throughout the area to celebrate Independence Day and our local communities.

12:00 p.m. parade beginning on Route 9N in Jay
5:30 – 8:30 p.m. The annual Fourth of July celebration will include food, beer, games, vendors and music at the Jay firehouse.

Schroon Lake 4th of July Celebration

The 68th Annual Schroon Lake Fourth of July Celebration will include an Adirondack basket raffle, family fun in the park, a full lineup of Dock Street Stage bands, the Adirondack Artists & Crafters Market, the Lions Club food tent, a parade along Main Street, and fireworks at dusk!

Live music presented by Tupper Arts at the Sunset Stage with On 3 performing at 4:30 p.m., followed by local dance band Night School at 7:00 p.m. The Tupper Lake Riverpigs face off against the North County Thunderbirds at 6:00 p.m. Fireworks begin at dusk.

Long Lake – Kids’ 4th of July Games

Games for all ages! Classic favorites include small children’s scavenger hunt, balloon race, sack races, the venerable egg toss, and three-legged race.

Long Lake 4th of July Celebration

6:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. at the Long Lake Town Beach
The 4th of July Celebration will begin at the Town Beach, sponsored by the Town of Long Lake. Live music will be performed at the Town Beach alongside a feast served up by the Long Lake Fire Department, and strawberry shortcake from the Long Lake Lions Club. The Yacht Lobsters will be entertaining the crowds with their musical talents. At dark the Best Fireworks in the Adirondacks can be seen from the beach, boat, or Mt. Sabattis.

Event organizers, including the Inlet Youth Commission, are planning family-friendly games starting at 10:30 a.m., including a scavenger hunt, water balloon toss, sack races, and more, with prizes! Refreshments will also be provided.

Speculator 4th of July Celebration
July 6, 2024
7:00 p.m. in Downtown Speculator, watch the parade, and fireworks at dusk at the public beach.
The parade follows Route 30 in downtown Speculator. Stick around after for an awesome carnival put on by CampStore! with fun games and delicious food. Enjoy live music and activities for the kids ($5 for a wristband for all jumping until dark!).
