COMMUNITY INVITED TO NBC BROADCAST FROM THE ICE PALACE

SARANAC LAKE, NY – All residents and visitors are invited to a taping of NBC’s The Today Show this Thursday morning at 7 a.m. at Saranac Lake’s ice palace. 

A crew from The Today Show, including anchor Kerry Sanders, will be there to tape a segment that highlights community spirit and support of our local Adirondack Olympic athletes. 

A viewing party is scheduled for 7 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 15, to watch Saranac Lake’s own and Olympic medalist Chris Mazdzer racing in the mixed luge team relay on at 7:30 a.m.

Please arrive at the Ice Palace between 7 and 7:15 a.m. and show your support!  All Olympic and U.S.A apparel is encouraged, as well as homemade signs to cheer Chris on.

Mazdzer won silver in men’s singles luge on Sunday becoming the United States’ first-ever Olympic medalist in men’s singles luge.
