Calling all writers! In support of sustainable tourism and the diverse experiences the Adirondacks have to offer, the Regional Office of Sustainable Tourism (ROOST) regularly publishes blogs across regional websites. These stories highlight the wide range of activities, destinations, and experiences that make the Adirondacks so special. We’re looking to expand our roster of guest bloggers who can bring fresh, unique perspectives to our audience. Contribute a single story or a hundred; just be sure your work is original and previously unpublished.
About ROOST
As an organization, ROOST is committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion across all areas of our work, including our marketing efforts. We strive to represent the wide range of people who visit the Adirondacks and call the region home. We want all voices to be heard and encourage diverse writers to submit pitches.
Compensation
Upon publication, writers are compensated starting at $100 per story. While expenses such as mileage, activities, and meals are not reimbursed unless agreed upon in advance, higher rates may be available depending on the scope of the assignment and the quality of the writing and imagery submitted.
