In our efforts to promote sustainable tourism, Adirondack adventures, and the unique regions we cover, the Regional Office of Sustainable Tourism (ROOST) regularly publishes blogs on regional websites. These stories are designed to highlight the variety of activities and places that showcase what the Adirondacks have to offer.
We are looking to build our roster of guest bloggers who can share unique perspectives on the Adirondacks. Write one story or write 100! All submissions need to be original, previously unpublished work.
Upon publishing, writers are compensated for their blogs, starting at $100/story.
* Please take into consideration we do not compensate for mileage, activities, meals, etc. Any expenses you incur are your responsibility unless agreed upon prior to the assignment.
* Higher rates per piece based on assignment, quality of writing/image, etc.
As an organization, ROOST is striving to be diverse, equitable, and inclusive in all operations, including our marketing, to represent the wide range of people who visit and call the Adirondacks home. We want all voices to be heard, and encourage diverse writers to submit pitches.
